About Four the Love of Making

Hello!

Four the Love of Making is a space dedicated to the beauty of craft, curiosity, and the quiet magic of creating things by hand.

The name is intentional. I have always been drawn to the number four—its symbolism of stability, foundation, and home. In numerology it represents grounding and structure. That philosophy lives at the heart of everything I make and share here: the belief that a meaningful life is something we build—piece by piece, craft by craft.

This site is an extension of that practice. It is a place where making is honored in many forms: food, photography, writing, clothing, and the small rituals that shape daily life.

About Me

I am Narcisse Robles: creator, kitchen witch, traveler, and observer with a lens. Much of my inspiration comes from paying attention—to seasons, to materials, to the quiet beauty of ordinary moments.

My professional background is rooted in storytelling and communication. I earned my degree in English: Media, Culture, and Rhetorical Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and most recently completed an MBA in Aviation with a specialization in Marketing from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with people and small businesses, helping them articulate and share their unique brand stories. I’m deeply interested in how individuals shape their professional journeys and how thoughtful messaging can help those ideas reach the right audience.

At its core, this website reflects the intersection of those worlds: craft, storytelling, and the joy of making things that carry meaning.
